Sixth Day Photography exists to record the moments of lives, which have been so uniquely created, before those moments slip away. We want to catch the emotion to make revealing, interpretive pictures of subjects, whether majestic, sentimental, comical, or common. We like to create a sense of extraordinary drama in each photograph whenever possible. On the other hand, at some point everyone needs a great head and shoulders posed portrait to pass out to friends and family. Think about these two different approaches, and decide for yourself which approach will be suited for your tastes as you travel down your life's road to meet with us. Once you have chosen your images, I have the ability to produce them in color, black and white, or a sepia tone. See the examples below. |

Our objective is to make pictures which will fairly depict the feel of the day and reflect the personalities of those involved. After all, you will always remember the wedding day through the eyes, heart, and talent of your photographer. We know that things never seem to go exactly as planned, but they do go! Without the photographs, these moments would be trusted only to a porous memory. What true story teller wouldn't want to chronicle such a passionate little play for the generations yet to come? We work unobtrusively, trying to capture people as they are. It is a more challenging task, but will be far more rewarding in the future. We concentrate mainly on the bride and groom because the wedding and marriage are the main story, but we also like to look around and take photos of friends and family as their subplots unfold. These photos will help you remember the day and give you a chance to see things that you may have never seen. We are capable of giving you traditional photos for a wedding album, but an array of beautiful, revealing photos taken at your wedding is what we would like to give you most. |
